HELLO

I believe in slow food, slow art and slow living with the intention of staying grounded and centered, finding meaning in small and simple and an attitude of less is more in my day to day, the material goods in my life and even in a conversation.

I grow food and medicinal plants in my garden and also grow dye plants that I use to create the primary colors of the color wheel in my artwork. I gather acorns, oak galls, bay nuts, tree bark and walnuts to create on ongoing dye for grey, black and brown.

I am a trained ballet dancer and have a deeply rooted relationship with all forms of dance. I am always asking myself what am I aiming to transform, what is it time to let go of, what am I healing?

I worked for a decade in sustainability education, teaching kids in the classroom, using hands on exercises, film and digital media tools, to explore and see the impact of their daily activities on living ecosystems.

I meditate every night as a way to transition in to my dream world.

I see life as living within the cycles of dreaming, healing and creating, usually all happening to varying degrees at the same time.
